Pricing by batch
Our pricing by batch
No fixed price exists for this custom product — but quantity mechanically changes a site's economics.
Why request a quote
Shared survey
1 site visit
One visit from the professional to take all the site's measurements, instead of one per window.
Fabrication setup
Less time per piece
Once shaping is under way for a given pattern, producing several similar bars costs less per piece.
Grouped delivery
1 transport run
One transport run for the whole batch, instead of a delivery per window.
A benchmark, not a fixed price
Why a grouped order costs less per unit
Custom ironwork and guard rails typically run, as an indicative benchmark, between €300 and €800 (incl. tax) per linear metre, depending on material, complexity, and finish. A sill bar, shorter and simpler than a balcony guard rail, generally sits toward the lower end of that range.
On a multi-window site (10 to 40 bars isn't unusual), several cost items get spread across the whole batch instead of a single piece — it's this mechanism, not a fixed schedule, that generally allows a better per-unit price.

Frequently asked questions
What we're asked most often
Is there a guaranteed discount percentage by quantity?
No — no numeric schedule is published in the custom ironwork trade. The drop in per-unit price on a grouped order is a real economic principle (shared survey and delivery costs), but the exact percentage depends on each project and is confirmed at the quote stage.
How many bars count as a "batch"?
There's no official threshold — generally, as soon as several windows on the same site are being fitted at once, a shared survey and fabrication run become worthwhile.
Is the quote free for a multi-bar site?
Yes, describing your project and receiving a quote is free and carries no obligation, whether for a single bar or a full batch.
